DESCRIPTION

Come join renowned photographer Scott Markewitz on a visual adventure photographing the landscapes and magical light of Provence.  Scott will teach you how to use the natural light and put together all of the elements necessary to create beautiful images while exploring the villages and countryside of the Luberon.  You’ll be immersed in the culture as you visit local markets, vineyards, ancient villages and meet and photograph iconic local characters along the way.

This comprehensive 5-day program is geared for photographers of all levels who are passionate about photography and travel and want to expand their photographic skills and knowledge. Participants will learn about all aspects of photography with daily classroom sessions  and hands on field sessions that give participants a chance to improve their skills and expand their vision in a real world setting.

All participants should have a basic understanding of digital photography and come equipped with a DSLR or mirror less camera with assorted lenses, a backpack or portable solution to carry equipment while out in the field, a laptop with image processing software installed (Photoshop, Lightroom, Aperture, or other similar programs), a memory card reader, thumb drive, and at least one external hard drive for storage.

WORKSHOP DETAILS:

  • Five full day of photography instruction with Scott Markewitz, well known outdoor & lifestyle photographer. Maximum of 6 participants. Ideal for couples or friends traveling together.

  • 6 nights lodging double or single rooms. Ideal for couples or friends traveling together. Single supplement available for an additional fee.

  • Breakfast and lunch for duration of stay.

DOES NOT INCLUDE:

  • Airfare to France, transfer from or to local airport, dinners or additional meals, as well as cancellation/travel insurance are not included.
